The staff were super lovely at the property, but I heard from a local that a break‑in at Nila Beach Resort a few weeks back had gone viral on TikTok, so I asked to be placed in a front room because it was just me and my 10‑year‑old daughter, yet I was still put in a back room. The room was swarmed by mosquitoes, the air‑con was horrible unless you left it on 24/7, the spa bath plug got stuck, and after the first night the hot water stopped working; after complaining I asked for a refund and was told the boss said to move rooms. Once we moved, the shower hot water lasted only 2 minutes. The location is far from activities, so I’m just glad we hired a car, but the driveway is terrible with potholes. I ended up leaving earlier and finding another place to stay. Breakfast hours are only 8‑9.30 am and they only offer one meal.

The bed was comfortable, but the spa bath didn’t work, there was no hand soap or hand towel left at the sink, the driver was late, it was difficult to contact staff by local phone number, paying at reception was hard, they have three very outdated EFTPOS machines, and there was no way to pre‑pay.
