We had an excellent stay in San Miguel and would definitely recommend this hotel. It was clean, stylish, peaceful, and both the breakfast and restaurant were excellent. The only downside was our check‑in experience: we were charged an additional 5 % described by the receptionist as a cleaning fee. I asked three times whether cleaning was included in our booking, and she clearly said it was not. After paying, we received the hotel information sheet, which stated that cleaning was in fact included. When I questioned her again, she admitted that the 5 % was actually a tip for the housekeeping staff.
