Everything we needed was there: bread, brioche, drinks. The room was very quiet. We stayed two nights but never met the owner who lives next door. The hosts explained the breakfast. The bathroom and toilet are not attached to the room.

The location was superb – you can sleep with the windows open and hear no noise. The only thing that could be better is breakfast: a bit more salty options for those who like them and some fruit.

The hosts are very attentive. Everything is exactly as advertised. If I go back to Puy du Fou, I’ll know where to stay. If you use Waze, type “La Gallerie Vendrennes” with two L’s; otherwise Waze won’t find the correct destination.

Breakfast was quite adequate, with delicious homemade jam. The bedding was comfortable and the cleanliness impeccable.
