The hotel sits right next to Shin Oboku station, stays clean, and the 24/7 staff are friendly; they let me drop off luggage on arrival and on the last day, which is always handy, and being in Korea‑town gives a nice food change after three weeks, but the Wi‑Fi is terrible and the beds feel very hard.

The location was fine, but traveling during the rainy season left the room with no ventilation and a lingering damp smell.

The station is close, the price is cheap, and the 24‑hour reception makes it easy to come and go; the bath and toilet are separate, so even if the water overflows it’s no problem like a home bath. The only downside is that the neighbor’s voice is very loud, so the sounds of stairs and conversation make it hard to sleep, and there’s no breakfast.

The place is super well situated, quiet, clean, and comes with all the toiletry essentials (shampoo, toothbrush, …). The only issue is that the bed feels a bit too hard, but maybe that’s just the Japanese preference!

The location is great: quiet yet very central, close to the metro station that can take you anywhere. It was clean, and you could request daily housekeeping if you wanted. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, and the price is good for what you get. The beds are extremely hard, like standing on a concrete block, and the place is also very noisy; you hear your neighbors chatting or snoring even though the neighborhood is otherwise quiet.
