The staff were very helpful, even though their English was limited, and the view from the house was pretty nice. It could be a good spot for camping with your own vehicle. I had expected a cheaper way to reach Bled, but there’s no easy public transport unless you drive yourself. The town itself had nothing – no restaurants other than the overpriced house, no shops, and no bus stop, despite one being advertised. I thought there would be a small kitchen to keep food in the fridge and cook simple meals, but there wasn’t one. Sleeping was tough without AC or a fan.
