The owners were very kind and helpful, the location is convenient (a few minutes by bus or half an hour on foot from Edinburgh city centre), and the breakfast was plentiful, but the furniture is dated and the bathroom is old.

We felt very comfortable in this guesthouse; the location is ideal for exploring Edinburgh, thanks to the good bus connection you reach the city centre quickly and easily—even with a dog it was no problem at all—and the landlords were very friendly, always available and gladly helped us with questions.

The room was clean, the host super friendly, and a 40‑minute walk from the centre; it’s also dog‑friendly. The bed felt a bit too hard, though.
