The location and the facilities were good, but the location was spot on.

The afternoon‑night shift staff were the only ones who gave any attention; the morning crew offered zero customer service and were disrespectful when I complained. They laughed when I reported that the room assigned to me was dirty, with cobwebs behind the TV cabinet, the TV cable wasn’t connected, no one told me where the breakfast room was or if I could order room service. When I asked for a taxi to the airport, they said they had no contacts and didn’t work with mobiles, so I had to book one myself via an app. The room was supposed to have a good view but it was the worst view I got; from the hotel entrance there was a constant food smell, and even on the second floor my room smelled bad, forcing me to buy an air freshener. Other guests were noisy around midnight, preventing sleep; the bathtub had no lid, the wardrobes were shabby with spiders, the lighting was dim and made a stressful noise. I’ve stayed in better hotels – this was the worst.

The location on the main plaza was really great, convenient for walking the historic area. The staff were very helpful and courteous, making it easy to explore. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise.
