The property sits in a remote spot yet is within walking distance of a local shop, and the surrounding views are uninterrupted by other buildings—just forest green from the hills. There’s a huge yard with plenty of child‑friendly amenities (swings, cradles, a fire pit) and a separate kitchen and large dining room that’s no more than 20 m from the two villas. It’s fully equipped for cooking or barbecuing on site, plus two espresso machines with complimentary beans from the owner. The host, a very nice lady, truly tried to make our stay pleasant and even grows fruit berries on the property, so you can buy fresh fruit or homemade jam and syrup. The villa itself is immaculate, has its own terrace, a small fridge, a coffee filter, and a microwave oven. It’s definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a trip to the Hațeg Area. The photos on the website are genuine and match what you find on arrival. For my next visit I won’t look elsewhere. Nothing else worth mentioning; in my view the property checks all the boxes for a holiday.
