“Great value for the money”
The price‑to‑value ratio was spot on; I felt I got a lot for what I paid.
“Spacious but riddled with problems”
The place is huge and sits in a quiet spot, perfect if you’re after some peace. Unfortunately the curtains were torn, the room was dusty, the shower leaked, and the on‑site restaurants charged absurd prices, forcing us to eat elsewhere. Check‑in didn’t start until 5 pm even though the booking said 3 pm, and the intermediary never passed our reservation on, so we waited three hours to get in. Only two heated pools were available. I can’t recommend it.

We were a bit nervous after reading some bad reviews about bad smells, but the place turned out to be exactly what we imagined – bright, spacious, and spotless. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The only hiccup was the booking: we booked through a third‑party site, got an email asking for payment, but never received the link, so when we arrived there was no reservation under our name.

The view from the room was amazing and the apartment itself was top‑notch, plus there were daily shows by the pool and the staff were friendly. On the downside, the kids’ pool was cold and the main pools weren’t as warm as they could be—one or two were practically chilly. The snack bar prices were steep, especially drinks and açaí.
