Location was fine, but the view was lacking.

Nice, quiet spot away from traffic. Stayed two nights, liked the small kitchen and dining area, could open screened windows onto a nice private shrub fence, shower was the best I've had in a motel. Everything else was fine, though a small seating area in the room would have been nice.

The front desk lady was welcoming, greeted me with a friendly smile, check‑in was quick and easy, and she gave great local dining tips. My room was warm, comfortable, spacious, bed cozy, bathroom roomy (disability). Shower pressure and hot water were excellent. The suite matched the website exactly – home away from home. I loved my stay at the Merivale Motel; if I return to Tumut, I'll be checking in here again. Thanks, Merivale Motel. The only issue: the tissue box on the kitchen bench had only one tissue sheet.
