The property is centrally located. The rooms were large, with modern bathrooms in a historic district. Our family booked four rooms and enjoyed walking out of our rooms to greet everyone in the common area while grabbing freshly baked croissants to enjoy with our coffee. Lots of stairs to move luggage up and down, but the staff handled everything for us.

It’s a scam. When I booked, it advertised an elevator, but in reality you have to climb almost 30 steps up a dirty, narrow, steep staircase to reach a tiny, bad elevator—impossible with two large suitcases. We got to the room thanks to a building tenant who saw us stuck on the stairs and helped us, saying he usually does that for people wanting to access the accommodation. The place was dirty and neglected, so we decided not to use it and had to find a nearby hotel instead; it was a very unfortunate experience.

The location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, but it felt more like an apartment than a hotel. The front desk was limited but could be reached by text, which was convenient.

The location was next to a beautiful old plaza that was occasionally busy with foot traffic; at night there were plenty of dining options and a pop‑up market in the morning, and everything was within walking distance. The room was comfortable and well‑furnished with plenty of space to unpack. Even though the plaza and streets were lively late at night, the noise did not reach the room. The owner was very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport at very early or late hours and answered any questions promptly. We knew this when we booked, but just to let others know, there are about 15‑20 steps to reach the first landing where the elevator is; if you have mobility issues this could be a problem. The front door is very subtle, and the resident list shows “JB Relais,” which made it look like a residential apartment at first, so we were a bit confused, but once we understood what we were looking for, the location was ideal for everything.

The room was gorgeous and within walking distance of everything in Rome. The streets can get noisy at night, but keeping the windows locked and the AC on blocked enough noise. We really appreciated the croissants left at our door every morning and the option to have the room cleaned daily. There were also travel adapters in the room. The floors upstairs are a bit noisy, but nothing too bad.
