The view is the main highlight of this place. The shared kitchen and laundry facilities are available, and a restaurant is close by. Unfortunately, we found a dead spider in the kitchen when we arrived, but it was removed the next day. The lack of décor and furnishings also takes away a lot of potential coziness.

The balconies offered a lake view, but you’ll need to plan your own dinner because the shared kitchen and dining area are only available when the neighboring restaurant is closed at 6 pm during the week, and that restaurant only opens for breakfast at 8 am.

I woke up to the view of Laguna Hule right outside my room, an experience hard to put into words. The place is clean, comfortable, and exudes a calm vibe. What really caught me off guard was the atmosphere—feels like staying in a tiny neighborhood where everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. A few minutes on foot you’ll find several restaurants, a local character selling tasty flakes, and an authentically rustic feel. The location is ideal for exploring the area: you can walk trails that link three volcanic lakes and rent kayaks at very reasonable prices for locals. If you’re after nature, peace, and adventure, this spot is a solid pick. The only thing to remember is that it’s a getaway meant to disconnect and enjoy nature, so it’s not the place if you’re after nightlife or city amenities.
