The location is good and the place is clean. It’s not high‑end, but overall everything is fine.

The location is great, the kitchen is well equipped, the bathroom was fine, and the host was very kind. The bed creaked a bit; it would have been much better with curtains around the bed to create a private space.

The hostel is spacious with multiple levels and plenty of people to meet. Surprisingly it wasn’t crowded despite the number of guests. The bathrooms are generous and clean, and there are power outlets almost everywhere. The lift is handy when carrying a mug of tea, though there’s no kettle in the rooms. The kitchen fridges are checked and cleaned weekly. Unfortunately, people were stealing food from the fridges, and after a confrontation with security staff the next night we had to call the police. That kind of older bully doesn’t belong with younger travelers. Two of us left, and later we learned the staff member was still allowed to work at the hostel I booked elsewhere. Be careful about what you leave in the fridges.
