Being right under the citadel on the Maas riverbank was fantastic – the location couldn't be better.

The accommodation’s location was ideal as a starting point for sightseeing, and within the town everything was just a short walk away. The view of the promenade and the Maas was lovely, and despite the central location it was absolutely quiet at night. We really enjoyed the breakfast: there was a wide selection, everything was freshly prepared, from freshly squeezed orange juice to fruit salad, ham, cheese, fried eggs, sweet spreads, and a variety of breads rounded out the meal. The building’s age meant the stairs were narrow and a bit difficult to navigate with luggage, but otherwise we had no negative comments.

The hotel sits right on the riverfront. The rooms are a decent size and the breakfast was lovely. A clearer sign would help guests find the front door, as it’s down a pathway.
The breakfast basket was nicely arranged and tasty, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The view was great and the location was good.
