The farm beside the Rio São Francisco was stunning, with private beaches and lush green areas full of animals. The breakfast was excellent, and the owners’ sons were very friendly and attentive.

The rooms were super comfy, with top‑grade sheets and spotless rooms, and the breakfast was a real treat. The river that runs right by the lodge and the horses were a big plus, especially for my kids. Bruno and Celio welcomed us like family, making the stay feel like a home away from home. We’ll definitely come back.

The lodge sits right in the heart of nature, with horses and the São Francisco River flowing past a classic Minas house. The staff were welcoming and gave great tips on local restaurants, routes, and cheese shops, and the homemade breakfast was tasty. The room was spacious with a view of the forest, and the town nearby made meals easy.

I’ve stayed in a lot of pousadas across Brazil, but this one tops my list. The old house is gorgeous and full of history, and the garden with horses, turkeys, and other animals makes breakfast feel like a farmyard party. The breakfast spread is amazing, giving you the energy for hikes in the Serra da Canastra. We’re definitely coming back—thanks for the great hospitality!
