“Unfortunately a total disappointment”
The garden with its koi ponds was lovely, and I could leave my luggage after checkout. The location was decent—quiet, close to a mall, and not too far from the city center. Safety was an issue: electrical outlets were dangling from the wall. Cleanliness was terrible—thick dust behind the bed and on furniture, a stained bathroom mirror, a heavily calcified tap, and dirty soap dispensers in the shower. Pests and noise were a problem, with constant rustling and squeaking from the ceiling that probably came from rodents, keeping me awake for a long time; the hallway trash can was covered in cobwebs. The safe in the “Boss” room didn’t work, and basic amenities like soap at the sink or toothbrushes were missing. The room felt neglected and dusty, as if it hadn’t been cleaned or occupied in months. At 380,000 IDR for one night (no breakfast), it was overpriced for the lack of maintenance, comfort, and cleanliness.
