Friendly staff, amazing food and truly breathtaking views :). We missed more equipment in the room, such as chairs, a bin, a kettle, or hooks for jackets

Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile.

This is the place I have been coming back to for the 6th (!) year. I think that says it all :) Kheshkili, and the people who make this “project” (a terrible word for something that has so much heart in it), is my personal paradise in Svaneti. And my personal guardian angels. One thing, though: I would NOT recommend Kheshkili to people who put comfort above the soul of a place. Kheshkili is more about a conscious “lack of comfort”. But in return, you get mountains, swings with a view of eternity, the best breakfast (lunch, dinner, cappuccino, local herbal tea) terrace in the world. And PEOPLE. You could admire several generations of this family like… works of art? Frescoes in a church? :) They are incredible. That said, over the past few years the Kheshkili people have installed Wi-Fi, and it works perfectly. You can book a room with your own shower and good mattresses and pillows… And by the way, take a look around. Almost everything inside the rooms — and even the houses themselves, including the treehouse — was made by the owner, Badri, and his son David. This is art too. And heart. So, thank you, Kheshkili, for once again bringing my soul back to life and for the joy of coming back. This place is definitely going to become legendary… actually, it already is. Ministers, Olympic champions and many others come here to stay alongside the regular visitors. Make sure to order their herbal tea and Lela’s (Badri’s wife) "kubdari" meat pie on the terrace, and maybe go for a horse ride with Andria, Badri and Lela’s grandson! And yes, it is better to come here by your own (or a rented) car. Although Heshkili also has a transfer service. ❤️❤️❤️
