“To spend one night here is an amazing experience you will never forget.”

I stayed in this 130‑year‑old house and it’s still in great shape; the owners were incredibly kind and patient even though I arrived late for check‑in. I highly recommend it if you ever visit Sheki.

We slept in a nearly manor‑like, spacious room with wide planks, high ceilings, a cozy seating area, and a private kitchen with a sunny balcony. The landlords live in a separate wing of the 13‑year‑old historic house and are always helpful and informative.

The host and hostess were very warm and welcoming; the hostess made excellent breakfast, washed and folded our clothes, and helped us retrieve a phone left at a hotel the day before. They called the hotel and we had the phone back by early 6 am. The guesthouse was spotless, and the host escorted us to the Balakan border crossing.

“High recommended.”

This place is perfect for everything: clean, quiet, comfortable bed. The host can assist with almost anything, and his car is much larger than most cars in Sheki, which helped us get to the border. It feels just like home in Sheki. The hot shower was a bit hard to control for me.
