Before our visit the owners informed us that construction work would be happening on site and might disturb us; because of their honesty we decided not to cancel and were not disappointed. We requested a canoe ride for the day and received it, and the lake cruise we booked on site was excellent. Wi‑Fi communication was problematic and payment was in cash.

We were wowed by several things here, from the gorgeous grounds to the immaculate, freshly scented rooms and crisp, clean towels. The manager was also a big plus; she kept us in the loop right from the start, giving all the details we needed before we arrived. The real star was Khun Joy, the property manager, who is an outstanding leader who does everything—from bookings and emails to cooking, landscaping, guest transfers and travel arrangements. Even though we stayed during the rainy season and spent most of our time inside because of heavy rain, Khun Joy’s warmth, sincerity and dedication made us feel completely at ease and wonderfully cared for. We see her as a friend and hope to come back next year when the weather is better! Rain
