The hotel’s fresh, renovated look really impressed us, and every part of the place felt modern—from our room to the facilities. We tried a Swiss stone pine sauna for the first time and absolutely loved it. Hiking was the main focus of our trip, and the reception staff were very helpful, offering great advice. The location is excellent; the inner city and Planai jet are within walking distance, which was free thanks to the Schladming Sommercard included in our stay. Parking was convenient, too, because the hotel has a large parking area just across the road.

The design is nice, the rooms are pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was great. The only downside was that only cable TV was available—no Netflix or YouTube 😢.

The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. The only issue was that you had to request the TV, and the price for a comfort room wasn’t justified.

What a gem! We loved staying at Haus Zirngast; the staff made it unforgettable. The restaurant is exceptional—best food we’ve ever had in Austria, and we’ve been visiting Schladming for years. It’s local, seasonal, thoughtful, with perfect wine pairings, and the staff are attentive without interrupting our evening. Thank you so much.
