Hotel Vogar, in the peaceful village of Vogar on the Reykjanes Peninsula, offers spectacular views of 379-meter Mt. Keilir, a cone-shaped volcano. Located 14 minutes from Keflavík International Airport, the hotel features double-insulated walls and light-reducing curtains. It's 12 minutes from the Blue Lagoon and 25 minutes from Reykjavík, with nearby coastal paths, lava fields, and abundant bird life, plus a nearby heated outdoor pool.

Location was great (when you have a rental car and need to be near the airport). The shared bathroom left something to be desired, and we requested a double bed but only received two immovable single beds. It met basic requirements.

Closer to the airport, quite a town, very good, staff are nice.

Good location to the airport. Very old and worn out equipment.

Just 15 minutes from the airport, perfect for a single night, but the facilities were very limited.

It’s a decent place to spend a night near the airport, the hotel looked clean, and checking in was straightforward, but the beds were quite uncomfortable.
