I liked the quiet, nature‑rich setting and the friendly owner made it enjoyable. Hearing the birds and taking early‑morning walks were nice touches, and the service was attentive. The shuttle from Koyasan was a real help. I was disappointed that breakfast was only bread; I don’t tolerate dairy well, and I should have mentioned that earlier.
A typical Japanese house in a tiny village near Koyasan. The owner welcomed us warmly. We were a party of four and she gave us a free second empty room. We ate there and it was absolutely amazing—one of the best meals of our more than three‑week stay. Nothing to note.
The food was delicious.

They handled the check‑in time and other details individually and gave plenty of info about nearby attractions. I had no problems and stayed comfortably.
