The Waldhotel Albachmühle, a family-run hotel in the Albachtal Nature Park, is a 10-minute walk from the River Moselle. The location is very nice—deep in the forest yet still close to roads. The rooms are pleasant and the guesthouse vibe is nice. The restaurant and all other facilities were booked for a wedding. We were told it would be booked, but for another day. It took time to find another restaurant, and we didn’t see anyone working at the hotel to ask.

Everything was good. The evening kitchen was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The staff were friendly. The value for money was good. The location is a bit depressing for someone used to wide open spaces.
