Breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked, the room was superb with a comfy four‑poster bed, a full bath and shower, and the location was ideal—everything we needed was right outside the door. The downside was hearing the kitchen extractor fan even in the best room, but they’re working on it, and the toilet paper was terrible—bring your own. Just a few tweaks and you’re getting an amazing stay.

The front desk greeted me with a “positive pot,” the room was clean, spacious, and a suite, the breakfast was very filling, and free parking was included.

It fulfilled all of the basics, no worries about hygiene, staff courteous and friendly. In terms of VFM, 10 / 10, and a great central base to explore Cornwall from. Restaurant service always friendly, but quite a variation in skill level between table staff. Not that big a deal, food was decent and well priced
