The bed was incredibly comfortable, and both windows offered a phenomenal sea view from our quad family room; breakfast was excellent with full English and continental options, and the bar was well stocked with three real ales—great value for money. However, the thin floors let us hear the elephants upstairs, and although we were on the second floor, there was no lift.

“Good stay”

We were already in Scarborough and decided to book a one‑night stay; this hotel turned up, located conveniently within walking distance of town and the sea front. The room had a sea front view, was spacious, and had everything we needed—kettle, plenty of coffee, tea, towels, soaps, shampoo, and comfortable beds with clean bedding. We didn’t hear any noise, so we slept well. Breakfast offered a good selection of tea, coffee, cereal, toast, jams, and a cooked breakfast with one item of everything. The staff were friendly, and while the building was a bit dated in parts, it didn’t affect our stay. For the price, there’s nothing to complain about; we would definitely stay again.
