The peace and quiet were very tranquil and calm—exactly what we needed. The only problem was a flickering light around the log burning inside and the absence of bowls.

The location was very convenient, very peaceful yet close to amenities and tourist spots. We loved watching the horses in the paddock and other wildlife. The hosts respected our privacy. The doors to the hut were a bit tricky to lock and felt flimsy; some kitchen utensils were worn or broken, but nothing that really affected our stay. Because I have arthritis, it would have helped to know beforehand how heavy the bed was to move, yet we managed and it didn’t have a huge impact.

It was such a beautiful, magical spot. I stayed with my son and it was cozy yet breezy. There was so much nature around the property, making it feel relaxed. I loved the new experience while still being close to home. The location was wonderful and nearby amenities were available if needed. The hut itself was in great order with a comfortable bed and everything required.

The location was beautiful, and it was lovely to watch the horses in the meadow. The hut is compact but has everything you need. The owners were very nice and friendly, making the stay overall relaxing. The outside decking area could use some attention; parts were loose, the BBQ hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests, though it was easy to clean, and the outdoor furniture cushions were very stained. We also didn’t know where to dispose of our rubbish.

The place was lovely, spotless and cozy, and the owner was friendly. The only downside was that it sits over a flight path, but the location more than compensates for that, making it a solid stop‑over.
