The spot is superb, the view from the room is spectacular, the toiletries are excellent, and the staff were very kind; nothing to add.

The building sits on the 38th floor of a skyscraper, so the view from the room is stunning. The room itself was spotless and nicely decorated, which made the stay pleasant.

If you want a killer skyline view of Chongqing, this 38‑floor spot does the job, even though it’s not a full‑blown four‑star hotel. The rooms are clean, roomy and come with all the basics; you’ll notice a few scuffs on the walls, but they don’t ruin the experience. Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s a supermarket and little stalls downstairs where you can grab something and eat in the room, and the self‑service laundry is free.

The place sits right in Chongqing’s heart and offers good value for money, but we booked non‑smoking rooms and still caught cigarette smoke through the air conditioning, while other guests were smoking in the lobby, which was unpleasant for us; the room itself had visible scratches on the walls and furniture, and the windows weren’t cleaned.
