Corfu Country House

“Un bellissimo soggiorno”

Our stay began almost by accident when our flight was cancelled, and we ended up in Corfu, but we couldn’t have found a better place. The property sits in a quiet, green area, is welcoming and clean, and about a 10‑minute walk is Gardenos Beach and several tavernas with excellent fish. Katerina is fantastic, always greeting us with a smile, meeting all our requests, and suggesting a lovely boat trip. On the last day, because the property is far from the bus stop, they offered to escort us, making our trip much easier. We recommend it wholeheartedly and hope to return one day.

“Do yourelf a favour and have this experience! Clear your mind and soul”

It was an wonderful country house experience. Simple and clean. Very quiet, amazing host, free parking spot available, relatively close to the beach. We could see the mountain and the water from the balcony. We went shopping in the closest village and prepared easy breakfast and had dinner at tavernas on the beach. It’s 1 hour from Corfu town and we ended up driving there 4 days out of 8 in addition to exploring the whole island. The beach was the best for our taste. Sand and not rocks, good clean water, progressively deeper fun for swimmers and non-swimmers. We were looking for an authentic natural island experience and we got it plenty. The host was the greatest. Very discrete and polite but full of warmth and wisdom. It’s a family house shared with people all around the world who are looking for a the real feel of the island. I would defenatelly recommend and for sure we will be back. Nothing to add in this section. The air conditioning unit seems to be a bit old and noisy but it does the job. I didn’t mind it at all

We had an amazing time at Corfu Country House; the place is kept clean and feels like a real home. It was sad to leave because Katerina and Vasilis made us feel so welcomed. You can arrive without a plan and Katerina will show you the best spots on the island. The neighborhood is calm, quiet, and the most beautiful part of Corfu (I drove and walked around a lot), with plenty of hiking trails—ask Katerina about mountain number 3 and head there for beautiful olive trees and no crowds—and it’s close to a clean beach with fine sand that won’t hurt your feet. Check the nearby restaurants for great food. It was truly an experience. Thanks again, Katerina, and hope to see you in a few years ❤️

Katherine was the kindest host you could imagine, incredibly helpful throughout our stay and ensuring everything was as pleasant as possible. The accommodation is very close to a beautiful beach, and the area is absolutely amazing—peaceful, relaxing, and surrounded by great beaches. We would definitely recommend Corfu Country House to anyone visiting Corfu.
