The house is gorgeous, still holding onto its historic vibe. The room is super comfy, quiet, and furnished with antique pieces. The garden is huge and impeccably maintained. The host is a very kind lady and the breakfast is exceptionally good. The location is ideal, situated between Guimarães and Braga. Nothing negative.

Three outstanding days; the owners are extremely kind, and the property is stunning. The 48 m² granite room keeps cool, the white marble bathroom has an Italian shower and double sinks. Direct access to the French garden with a pool, a vegetated gazebo, and garden lounges is breathtaking. The most amazing part is the breakfast served in the historic salon of Portuguese, Brazilian, and French noble descendants. It’s not just a meal; it’s a symphony of pastries, charcuterie, and drinks orchestrated brilliantly by the housekeeper. I highly recommend it and plan to stay longer next year.

The owner and family were very friendly and welcoming, and the farm and entire house were both beautiful and full of history and stories. The place suits adults who appreciate vineyards and cultural history. Breakfast was beautifully set with various spreads, fruit, fresh bread, and very good dark coffee and warmed milk. The location can be demanding for families with small children because of the antique furniture. We enjoyed the peace and would gladly visit Casa do Ribeiro again.

An unforgettable stay. The historic surroundings are lovingly preserved and exude character. We were treated to a fantastic tour, ending with a wonderful glass of wine made from grapes from the own vineyard—how special! The next morning we savored a fantastic breakfast full of delights, served in the atmospheric dining room filled with family pieces and portraits. The cozy, comfortable bed also ensured a good night’s sleep. A warm, welcoming, and unforgettable experience.

Casa do Ribeiro is a historically rich accommodation with impressive facilities. Our host Maria was very nice and prepared an excellent breakfast for us. The house tour was very interesting. The garden was beautiful, and on sunny days it’s definitely good for sitting. Unfortunately, we had rain and it was a bit cold. After Guimararaes you have to drive by car. Everything else was great!
