“très bon séjour dans un lieu extra”

The spot in nature is very nice, yet all the amenities are nearby. The host is warm and welcoming. The accommodation is spacious and pets are very welcome! The air‑conditioning would be ideal and a little more kitchen equipment (cutlery, pans, …) would help.

Nothing good to say. The place is advertised as air‑conditioned, but that’s not the case. A mobile AC unit makes a horrible noise and only slightly cools the room. We were told we could use the outdoor table, which was dirty and had a ashtray full of rubbish—great! The kitchen is very basic, no lighter so you can’t heat food (old gas stove). There is no microwave on site. The pots and pans are scary because they’re worn and scratched. We bought new ones and brought them back to show. Everything is in bad condition. The exterior needs a complete overhaul with an unsafe pool and sagging tarps. I think the ARS never came by. As for the welcome, we were advised not to swim, not to drink tap water, and not to walk with our dog because the on‑site cats are aggressive. So, honestly, we had no reason to stay in Ardèche: lack of comfort with high heat, no possibility to swim, etc. We left after two days because it was so hot and we felt unwell. The biggest disappointment is that I don’t think we’ll ever return to Ardèche because the experience was so disappointing.

“Exceptionnel”

The stay was perfect. The house and the pool area are absolutely stunning and tastefully decorated—truly a little paradise. Pietro is a very welcoming and available hotel. I highly recommend it.
