We loved the food—exceptional cuisine—and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The sea view from our 4th‑floor apartment (Room 46) was superb. The manager was hands‑on and very accommodating. The hotel is smallish but totally charming, and getting to all floors is so easy even though it’s on a hillside. The only downside was that our room had no hot‑drink facilities and there was a lack of information about the hotel and its amenities.

Overall, a pleasant stay thanks to helpful and friendly staff. The bedding was good, rooms were clean, the shower was modern, and parking was convenient. The hotel’s location is great, close to Honfleur, Deauville/Cabourg, and the Pays d’Auge, and the beach is nearby with a nice promenade (shout‑out to the town hall). Breakfast was good, but for 19 EUR I’d have liked a coffee machine and more than just scrambled or hard eggs. Dogs were present at breakfast. The sea view from the room was limited, so I felt the price was 15‑20 % too high for the services and the season. For dinner, you could either stay at the hotel and eat the daily restaurant menu or go out, but there’s no restaurant in the village. In the end, Honfleur is a 10‑minute drive away and offers a wide range of entertainment.

Es handelt sich um ein charmantes und mit Stil renoviertes Hotel mit schönem Garten und Meerblick. Die Schiffsbewegungen im Ärmelkanal lassen sich u.a. mit einem großen Fernrohr vom Garten aus beobachten. Der Service ist äußerst freundlich. Parkplätze stehen gratis zur Verfügung. Das Restaurant bietet abends ab 19:00 Uhr eine kleine aber feine Karte (jeweils 4 Vorspeisen/Hauptgänge/Desserts) mit normannischer Küche mit Produkten aus der Region. Ein Tee-/Kaffeezubereiter im Zimmer wäre nett gewesen
