The apartment is located in a residential area and is very quiet. The bathroom, kitchen, and rooms were clean. The key was left in a lockbox (but that wasn’t communicated). The room or apartment had a lot of potential. When booking it wasn’t clear that it was three rooms with a shared bathroom. In Kassel similar rooms are offered for about 100 € instead of 142 € for three nights. The shared base should be “explicitly” mentioned in the description. The rooms are very sound‑prone. The equipment is very sparse. The double‑bedroom had no table or chair. The wardrobe is from a much earlier era. The TV shows about 10 channels, and the zoom cannot be turned off. The bed is caved in at head height. On arrival the room was very cold, the heating was set to frost protection. The host was personally unreachable even though he lives in the same building. According to the description he should have been reachable until 23:00 h. I eventually found a key. Because the rooms weren’t labeled, it wasn’t clear which room I had booked.

The room was very small and run down. The furnishings were old and Spartan, with no desk in the room, so I had to work in the communal kitchen for two other rooms for 2 and 3 people. I was there for two weeks for work. The shared use of the bathroom and kitchen bothered me because the other rooms were occupied over the weekend and I had to study. The walls were so thin that everything could be heard, and the doors were always open and closed. Within two weeks I had about 5 to 7 neighbors change, some staying only one night. It’s more suitable for one to three nights, as the rooms were always newly occupied. Otherwise the location was good; the house had a nice garden, which I couldn’t use because of the cold season. The apartment hadn’t been renovated in a long time but was clean. The hosts were very friendly and always reachable. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The price‑performance ratio was acceptable. I would have liked more quiet and retreat space. If I can’t find something better (without neighbors) in the same price range next time, I would book again because the location was fine for me (15 minutes by car to my training).

“Wie es mir gefiel”

Everything was very clean. The host was very friendly. We also had contact with other guests. At night it was very cold, so thicker blankets would be better this time of year. I’d love to come back in December if my tight budget allows it. It was very cold on the second night, and the blankets were too thin for the season.
