The hotel sits in the middle of a jungle, and the private pools offer breathtaking views. Service is of very high quality. We had a couples massage, which was also very nice. Our private villa was large, very clean, and extremely comfortable. There is also a large public pool next to the restaurant, but we never used it. It’s 30‑40 minutes to Ubud center, which was fine for us. They offer a shuttle or a private driver. Rafting on the river is close to the hotel, and during the day you can hear their music and shouts, but it didn’t bother us at all.

Beautiful views of the Balinese jungle and rice terraces right next to the hotel entrance, spacious villas with various amenities—especially the views from the top where you can see the whole valley and jungle. The minibar in the room is free, and there’s unlimited bottled water in the room—no mosquitoes (early wet season). Everyone is very friendly, and the room is cleaned twice a day, though not as thorough as one might expect. Daily surprises of sweets in the room and fresh fruit replenished daily. However, there is no kids’ menu in the restaurant, so children under two have nothing to eat at breakfast. The dishes in the restaurant are tasty, but something was off because we had stomach issues (we ate only on the hotel grounds). It was quite loud all day—shouts and screams from the opposite hill, and some waitresses were very untidy (hands, dirty nails, worn clothes). There were many misunderstandings due to the lack of language skills with the bartender or waiters.

The price was unbeatable; staying in that room for about 20,000 yen feels almost miraculous compared to other resorts. The infinity pool in Ubud was unique, the villa gave a true resort vibe, and traditional Balinese details seeped through. Even the cheapest grade here surpassed many high‑end hotels in Bali. The food was tasty, and the complimentary 35‑minute spa was fantastic. The pricing feels almost too good to be true. Anyone wanting an affordable Ubud experience should definitely go here. The only downside is that unless you force yourself to find a flaw, nothing stands out. The steep slopes might be a problem if you look for them, but overall everything reinforces the Ubud feel wonderfully. The staff are always ready with a cart, so the slopes are no issue. A flat, ordinary Ubud would no longer be Ubud (laughs).

A la carte breakfast was served, and the spot is perfect for nature enthusiasts, offering a stunning valley view. The spa was pleasant, and walking through the nearby rice fields added to the experience. Occasionally, the water felt a little milky.
