“もう、泊まりません！”

I only liked that there was an oden shop nearby. When I asked the staff for directions to the bus stop or taxi stand, they had almost no useful info; I had to ask someone in the local shopping street and finally got specifics. The bedding covers and other items were left for guests to set up themselves, while the staff were hanging out with other guests. Because there was no room guide, a male guest opened a female guest’s door and we were both startled. The wall between our rooms is ultra‑thin, so I could hear drunken chatter and the sound of someone falling down the stairs.

It’s my second visit and, as always, a lovely place to stay. The spot is in “Furumachi,” a charming old shopping street. The staff are very kind and the overall vibe is cute.
