The location was good for our conference. The hotel felt very tired, many things weren’t working, it was very noisy, staff was insufficient, I didn’t feel safe, and it was very smelly and dirty.

Great central spot. The old‑style rooms are cool and the hotel feels very special; I love the high ceilings and the gothic‑contemporary vibe. Street noise while sleeping wasn’t great, but that’s something the property can’t fix; maybe it was the room I had on a Friday night and didn’t notice the noise before. Otherwise, the central location is amazing.

Convenient for a one‑night stay, with car parking available. I had to ask for lightbulbs to read comfortably, and there was no comfy chair.
