The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was close to Vasquez Rock Park. The light under the bed would turn on as soon as you approached or lifted it, which I felt disturbed my sleep.
“2nd stay there. No complaints”
Check‑in went smoothly. The front desk staff, a young woman, was very understanding when I told her I’d be returning from church around checkout time (11 am) and needed a bit of time to change and load my car. I didn’t catch her name, so I can’t mention it here. Unlike the Travelodge by Wyndham in Sylmar, CA—where the staff would literally cancel a room key if you returned even a minute after checkout—this place was accommodating. Nothing negative to say; it was a comfortable stay.

The rooms were nice, beautiful, newly remodeled, and the AC unit was brand new. It appears that renovations are still happening in the hallways, and the cell service could be much better, though that’s not the hotel’s fault.
