The price and convenience for my travel were fine, but the property was utterly filthy: bath tiles had never been cleaned, the bedspread smelled like dried vomit, the safety latch on the door was broken, the toilet paper roll holder was broken on one side, the floor was sticky, the heater was moldy and dirty, the next‑door lock looked as if a police officer had shot it open, pimps were around, the doors to the second floor didn’t activate with the card but could still be pulled open, and it was unsafe.
