The only bright spot at this place is that it’s the sole “fancy” hotel in Kundapura. The building hosts three restaurants, but every one serves the same menu and just changes the tables and chairs. Prices are on par with Taj hotels, yet rooms lack mini‑fridges. The TV is tiny and unreliable. Staff seem clueless; they made a fuss when we asked for ice, refilled it only once, then claimed the ice machine was broken. They also over‑emphasized refilling water bottles, giving just 1 L of water per day in a hot Kundapura summer—absurd. The pool is only 2 ft deep, has no nearby showers, and no swimwear rules; women swam in sarees and nighties. The spa offers almost nothing. Don’t waste your money here.

The hotel needs more consistent cleaning for valuable assets, though the built environment is quite good. The toilet was unhygienic and the exhaust was non‑functional; opening the door let moisture water drip onto my head. The RO water bottle was sealed, raising a health safety concern, but the staff handled it well.
