The location couldn’t be more central, and check‑in was lightning‑fast for a smooth start. Everything was beautiful, spotless, and the many little touches were much appreciated: a bottle of water, beer and soft drink in the room, mini pasteis de nata, a coffee machine with daily supplied capsules, slippers and robe, plus a hair straightener alongside the hair dryer. I recommend it without hesitation. No negatives.

We left Hotel da Baixa in Lisbon with a great impression and would recommend it to anyone who values comfort and a prime location. The hotel sits right in the heart of Lisbon, just steps from all the main sights—riverfront, charming streets, top museums, and historic sites—all within walking distance, which made exploring the city effortless and enjoyable. The room was clean and tidy, and Wi‑Fi worked reliably throughout our stay. Staff were always ready to help, answer questions, and make our stay as comfortable as possible; their attentiveness and responsiveness deserve high praise. Overall, Hotel da Baixa is a solid choice for those seeking convenient central accommodation. For our next trip, we’ll probably look at other options that might better suit our family. The breakfast, included in the room rate, was fairly standard, as is common in 4‑star hotels, so we preferred to eat at nearby authentic cafés. Unfortunately, the breakfast area’s administrator was not very welcoming or friendly. A further disappointment was that the room wasn’t well suited for three people; there was very little space for the third guest and luggage, and the bathroom door was hard to close. The staff should pay more attention to these details in the future.
