The water shut off was excessive, the TV remote volume didn't work, and when I texted the front desk it was ignored; basic functions like showering and TV use were impossible, so I probably won't book here again—disappointment is an understatement.
“Usually good, but not so much this time due to renovations breaking lifts, hot water, ....”
Hotel currently in renovation. Lifts are unusable several hours a day. Water temperature was messed up (due to boiler room issues). Sometimes boiling hot, sometimes only cold. Room thermostat was broken and AC temperature could not be adjusted. Asked for it to be serviced 3 times to no effect. Usually our stay at this hotel is very pleasant but this time not so. The renovations had too much impact and should have been better managed

The location was good, yet the hotel was under renovation, the facilities fell short, towels near the pool rack were missing, breakfast was a disaster with no milk when asked and a 15‑minute wait that never yielded any, the manager supposedly fetched it, toast was unavailable and the responsible guy blamed the toaster being off due to renovation; breakfast should still meet standards or be omitted.

Nice hotel, good pool with a favorable sun position, covered hot pool, comfortable beds and pillows, pleasant breakfast area and especially the option to sit covered outside; breakfast could be healthier—an overall issue in American hotels.
