“Comfortable 2-night stay is a typical Courtyard.”
The hotel is part of a Marriott complex with two hotels in the same building: the Marriott and the Courtyard Marriott. I entered through the grand Marriott entrance, which left a great first impression. The Courtyard Marriott entrance and reception are very typical of the Courtyard brand. The rooms are fine and comfortable, but the pillows aren't as good as those in a Marriott. My room had a lovely bay view. The hotels share a breakfast restaurant, which was very good but crowded. There are restaurants just outside the hotel. Overall it’s a solid business hotel. Nothing in particular to complain about.
“Very bad, please dont book this hotel”
The breakfast had many options. The front desk staff were perfunctory and rude, giving careless answers to our questions. When we asked one staff member where to get a taxi, he pointed us to the wrong spot, causing us to wait a long time for a ride; Didi couldn’t even find our location. Even the invoice was wrong. I’ve never seen such unprofessional front desk staff in mainland China. It wasn’t just one person—out of the 3–4 front desk staff I dealt with, none seemed willing to help guests solve problems. In the elevators people were smoking and no one managed it. Some towels in the room were so old they were fraying. Do these poor experiences justify the price? I have no confidence in Courtyard anymore. The only satisfactory part was the breakfast, because it was provided by Marriott.
“A Clean and Well-Equipped Hotel with a High Price Tag”
This hotel offered a pleasant stay, with a notable emphasis on cleanliness and a well-equipped gym. However, the high price tag may deter some guests. Overall, the hotel's strengths outweighed its weaknesses.
“原本看五星飯店預訂,設備有到達五星級,服務就沒有,離廈門機場近”
The room was spacious. The staff’s friendliness could improve, and there was no luggage service.
The harbor view was nice, the hotel was clean and the rooms were well appointed. Breakfast was good with a variety of dishes for both Western and Eastern palates. The air conditioning was inconsistent; at night it stayed humid even at the lowest setting, so I sweated in bed and slept poorly.
