The place is simply stunning—old, impeccably clean, spacious, with a separate lounge that has a projector TV; the staff were warm, friendly, and very secure, making it my favorite motel stay.

The place was in rough shape—ants and even two bees in our room. The so‑called gourmet dinner, billed at $100 a head, was just three tiny cold fish bites and a dessert. Overall, it felt creepy and not worth it.

Stayed in a spacious, clean room that was quiet and well decorated. The bed was comfy and the hotel offered a decent breakfast spread—coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt, cereals—and a nice lounge, bar, and dining area. The dinners were top‑notch, usually four courses, rivaling city fine dining, and the wine list was solid. Thanks to the owners, Tim and Kathleen, for a great stay.

The building had a charming character that matched its age, but the shower pressure left something to be desired. Early‑morning truck traffic and a noisy neighbor with pipes running through our walls made it hard to sleep.

Everything was great—especially the owners, who made the community feel welcoming.
