The entire unit is wheelchair accessible and reachable by elevator, offering a fully accessible layout for two guests. It features two twin beds, a sofa, a refrigerator, a tea/coffee maker, an electric kettle, a telephone, a safe deposit box, a socket beside the bed, and an alarm clock with optional wake‑up service; entertainment includes a flat‑screen TV with satellite channels, free Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioning, heating and air purifiers. The attached bathroom provides a shower, bidet, shared toilet, towels, free toiletries and a hairdryer.

We enjoyed the private and public baths – they were clean and easy to use. The free snacks, like the welcome drink and late‑night noodles, were a nice touch, and having a coffee and tea maker in the room was convenient. Breakfast was a delicious spread. The pillow station was nice to have, but by the evening the choices were very limited. The room’s air‑conditioning made a lot of noise.
This well‑known hotel has well‑trained, enthusiastic staff, a huge parking lot right behind it that’s ideal for drivers, and the rooms mostly met our expectations; the hot‑spring facilities are fantastic, so we’d recommend taking another soak early the morning before checking out, the location is great on the main pilgrimage street for visitors, and they even offer free night‑time snacks. However, when navigating there by car you must direct the GPS to the parking lot rather than the hotel itself or you’ll end up on the pilgrimage path, the rooms lack a bathtub and only have a shower, and the semi‑self‑service Japanese breakfast, while photogenic, didn’t suit Taiwanese tastes.

The inn is just a stone’s throw from the Kompira Shrine, so after a visit you can easily return for a soak, and the famous Yoru Naki ramen plus the complimentary lobby tea made us feel truly welcome. The private bath, however, is just a simple wooden tub and lacks any special flair.
