“Kind staff, clea rooms, but nowhere to sit in room and staff member entered while wife was showering”

Our room was very clean, and I appreciated the Continental breakfast, tea, and coffee for those who like it, though it would have helped to have options for diabetics; the staff was also nice. However, even though we had the “do not disturb” sign out, a staff member entered the room while my wife was showering, and her service dog barked and she called out, thinking it was me; this was especially disappointing on our 44th wedding anniversary, as I’m almost 75, disabled, and the room lacked a suitable place to sit—other rooms had a small loveseat or comfortable chair, but ours only offered a soft, uncomfortable mattress or an office chair.

The room was clean, but the photos were misleading; the hotel smelled like smoke, homeless people were outside, the place looked run down, and I wouldn’t stay there again.

The place is tidy and looks good, but the noise from other guests—especially one who left a barking dog alone in the room—was annoying.

The room was very clean and the front desk staff were helpful, yet the blinds didn’t block the light from outside the window and the first night was a bit noisy because the plumbing in the bathroom next door rattles against the bedroom wall; in the suite you can also hear office noise, which is worse than the normal room I’ve stayed in before.
