Nearwater

“Exceptional stay in a perfect location. Will definitely return.”

The whole property had a lovely ambiance and vibe. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable, as was the shower room. Amilia and Tim were most welcoming, accommodating, and informative about the local area.

“We were staying in St Mawes for a wedding and just had the best weekend, Nearwater was the perfect place to rest and rec”

Everything. The room was beautiful, a great size, quiet, with a huge and comfortable bed and everything you could possibly need. Friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome and also made a spectacular breakfast. Amelia even kindly left extra towels out in case we wanted to go for a dip in the sea. The location is absolutely stunning, I think St Mawes is what every seaside town wishes it was. There was nothing not to like!

“Outstanding”

Lovely room; comfy bed; beautiful location; gorgeous walks; helpful hosts; fresh and fruit breakfasts. A guest microwave would be wonderful as eating out in St Mawes is expensive

The building is very pretty and well maintained, and the owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast paid close attention to gluten‑free options.

“We would come back to Nearwater time & time again”

We liked the relaxed charm and homely feel of the property. The lounge stroke garden space for guests and the proper coffee. The garden flowers on the coffee table were a delight. As a fellow hospitality person who always critics the food and is more opinionated than most. The breakfast could be tweaked and improved. The continental could be so much more interesting and the eggs anyway is a nice wholesome idea which potentially needs some tweaking. My mantra “if your going to keep it simple, you have to do it well” A fan in the room would have been very welcomed
