The facilities are solid and the staff are friendly. In the male shared room, people would come in and out with their phones blasting music at 3 a.m., which is a real disregard for others who are trying to sleep in a hotel or hostel.

What they advertise is accurate: it’s a cheap, accessible hostel in a prime part of town. The place is tidy and orderly, and the whole team is very kind and attentive. There are prettier hostels around, but at higher prices; this one is a budget option for travelers. A minor maintenance issue: the sliding door to the coworking balcony gets stuck and is hard to move. It’s a small detail that could be fixed without a huge investment.

The host said we could use the common areas and shower after checkout, but the owner was a different story. He wouldn’t let us leave our stuff and told us to leave in a rude way, even though the front desk had promised otherwise. He also said there was no special fee for using the facilities, but we were charged because we were using them as instructed. Overall, not a place I’d recommend.
