Breakfast was tasty. However, staying multiple nights with breakfast included isn’t ideal. I’d like to see more variety on the menu.

I loved the view of the river from my room, even though it was on a quiet side street; the room itself was gorgeous with tatami in the sleeping area, hardwood elsewhere, and stone at the entrance – a true Rykan bath hotel. On the downside, everything else was perfect, so I can’t find any negatives.

Fabulous in-room facilities, especially the private onsen. Great tea and coffee making machines. Polite and very friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Super-clean and the ability to sleep with the window open (fly screen) was appreciated. Excellent location for exploring Matsue and only 20 minutes walk from the station. Cant think of any negatives!

The outlook was beautiful and the staff paid close attention to detail. The central location meant I was close to many tourist attractions, and the Japanese breakfast was well worth it. I slept so well.
