“Angenehmer Aufenthalt für einen Opern oder Theaterbesuch (fussläufig zu erreichn)”
The hotel sits in a passageway with small shops, a café, and a restaurant. The room is very nice, reachable by elevator, with a balcony overlooking the roofs of Oldenburg, right in the city centre on a shopping street with small eateries. The breakfast across from the hotel is served in a stylish little restaurant and is excellent.

The apartment was okay, renovations were underway, which I wasn’t aware of. Access was only allowed after 23 o’clock.

The hotel is very beautiful, centrally located and completely quiet. The rooms are spacious, the staff are very nice, and the cleaning lady is dedicated.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel’s location is great, plus the room was spacious. The bed was a bit noisy, one power outlet didn’t work but there were enough others to use; however, if you want to work late, the light is too weak.
We returned to Altera Hotel for a second stay and found it very pleasant, with friendly staff, a lovely room, and a good breakfast served by courteous and attentive restaurant personnel; we have no complaints.
