The family’s children were nice and the terrace was beautiful, the bathroom had been renovated and could be accessed from the terrace, plus there was a hot shower. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and the hosts gave us free little pancakes for breakfast. However, the adults ignored us completely, even though they were in the same room; we never got a greeting. The room felt stiff, super dusty, and the window was closed when we entered; the smell lingered for hours and we coughed a lot at night. The bedsheets weren’t fresh, the towels were very old, and the room was cold, though there was an electric heater available. The door was very old; we locked it at night with the key, but then we couldn’t open it to go to the bathroom. We tried calling the hosts for help, but they hung up. So we had to escape through the window onto the terrace, where we could open the door from outside. The host never mentioned the key issue, and without the key the door doesn’t close properly. The dinner cost 60 lari per person, which is very expensive; we were two people and received a huge amount of food (for 4–5 people) and couldn’t eat it all. We would have preferred half the amount for half the price. It feels like the family keeps the rest for themselves. This is the worst stay I’ve had in Georgia. If you have a dust allergy, stay away.
