“Alegere buna pentru buget modest”
The accommodation works if you find a decent price and keep expectations low on comfort. Breakfast was modest: we received a basket with two cocoa cereal packs, two cornflake packs, yogurt (one per person depending on the number of days), a few mini jam jars, toasted bread, two croissants, a bottle of milk for coffee, and coffee capsules. I initially thought this basket would be daily, but it was for the whole five‑day stay, so we had to go to Deco Market for extra food, including sandwich ingredients. The kitchenette is handy if you want to cook a simple omelette or boil something. Comfort could improve: the pillows were very uncomfortable and seemed worn, and the room had a damp, moldy smell. For stays longer than three days, more toilet paper would be useful so guests don’t have to buy it themselves. The location is typical for the old Italian center: buildings are very close, windows face each other, and natural light is limited. It can be an authentic experience but isn’t ideal if you want plenty of light and privacy. Overall, the place’s position is an advantage and can be a good choice for a moderate budget, especially if you plan to spend most of your time exploring Salerno and its surroundings. Still, a few aspects deserve improvement, especially the bed comfort, room ventilation, and breakfast organization.
